It is with an immense sense of pride that I welcome you to Falcon Junior School. This is a great school and one that I am delighted and humbled to lead. This website has been designed to give you a flavour and overview of what our school is all about.
Falcon Junior caters for children from age 7 to 11 and is north of the historic city of Norwich. We are a happy, thriving and successful school with strong links with the local community. The life of our school is driven by a desire for academic achievement, combined with a nurturing ethos, that ensures every child is valued no matter what their starting point or background. We want to give our children an exciting curriculum that makes learning irresistible, therefore developing a love of learning that will continue with them throughout their future school experiences and lives. An essential ingredient for this to happen is teamwork. We view education as a joint venture, involving everyone: children, parents/carers, staff, Governors and the wider community.
The school has been on a challenging journey of premises issues that culminated in school closure in January 2020. The school was displaced into temporary Portakabin buildings before finally returning home to a refurbished building in September 2022.
