RE

At Falcon, we want all of our pupils to value diversity and equality. That is why we believe RE is such an important part of our curriculum.

By the end of Year 6, we want our students to become more religiously literate to enable them to hold balanced and well-informed conversations about religion and worldviews. We follow the Norfolk Agreed RE Syllabus, which reflects the fact that the religious traditions in Great Britain are mainly Christian, while taking account of the teaching and practices of the other principal religions including Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Sikhism and to a lesser extent Humanism.

Each unit of work is framed as a question and gives pupils the opportunity to express ideas and insight about the nature, significance and impact of religious and non-religious worldviews through a multi-disciplinary approach.
